Halloween Candy Donation Drive

With Halloween fast approaching, Mountain Valley Family Martial Arts plans to help the children in our community stay healthy while supporting families facing a serious medical crisis. To do this, Sensei Nevin Baskin is holding a Halloween Candy Donation Drive from October 30 to November 2 at the dojo, located in the Church Hill Mall in Hazleton. People can bring their leftover candy to the dojo and the candy will be taken to the Ronald McDonald House of Danville on November 3.

The Halloween candy donated by the community will go to families who have a seriously injured or ill child, from birth through age 21, who is currently in treatment. The parents and siblings of these young patients, who are often far from their familial support systems, can stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Danville to remain close to their child in treatment.

Community Trick-or-Treat (Non-Food)

Mountain Valley Family Martial Arts is helping to creat a safer and healthier Halloween by celebrating the Teal Pumpkin Project! We will be providing non-food treats for community trick-or-treaters on October 31st from 4pm - 8pm. Please note that our treat supply may be limited as we aren't sure how many trick-or-treaters to expect.
